Nothing Worse Than A Missing Hubcap

There is nothing worse than seeing a beautiful car go past with a single missing hubcap. It looks odd and makes the whole car look a bit of a mess. Let’s be honest, hubcaps come off quite easily - especially if you’re not the best driver such as myself and are constantly clipping the curb when parking. As a result of this, I have started looking around at the various hubcap styles on offer and have even purchased some used hubcaps online. By purchasing used hubcaps, you can get them specifically for your car model at a fraction of the price when compared to buying direct from the car manufacturer. By buying hubcaps online, you have a much larger choice and can often find hubcaps that have been specifically designed for your car or even better, if you’re just missing one, you can find the single hubcap that you have lost! Whether you’re looking for Honda hubcaps or even Toyota hubcaps, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for online. Of course, you don’t just have to have lost your hubcap to buy some new ones. A nice set of shiny new hubcaps can make your current motor look a lot newer than it is and some of the styles out there currently look better than alloy wheels!

Porsche Auto Parts Can Become Costly

For all the people considering purchasing a Porsche in the new year, make sure you have enough funds left after the purchase for parts and servicing. Now, luckily with Porsche, not much can go wrong and people go for years with no real issues, but, with that said, when it does go wrong, it can be extremely costly. Porsche auto parts are some of the most expensive out there, as is the servicing charge.

The problem is that with a Porsche, you can’t actually get to the engine yourself, so can’t perform minor repairs under the hood so to speak. This leads to fairly large service bills for relatively simple jobs. There are however some things that you can do yourself such as changing the brake calipers. As with most high performance cars, you go through the brakes fairly quickly. Luckily, you can buy a Porsche 911 Brake Caliper online for a relatively low cost along with the Porsche AC Condenser. Another popular home repair.

The Porsche is a great car to own, drive and be seen in but I strongly advice to do whatever repairs you can yourself rather than taking it into Porsche. Not unless you have a lot of spare cash lying around!

Finding The Right Car Loan For You

So, you’ve decided to take out a loan for that perfect car you’ve had your eye on or have been dreaming about for years. You’re not alone. 90% of the population use personal loans, car loans or car finance to fund their vehicle purchases. But how to go about it? If you’ve opted for a personal loan, you’re best off speaking to your bank. They usually have no issues when lending if it’s for a physical purchase, an asset. Unfortunately, you may need to secure it against the loan itself. So it’s important to keep up with the repayments. If you have opted for car finance, you may be limited to what cars you can buy. Car finance firms tend to favour newer cars as opposed to offering a used car loan. This is because the cars are secured against the loan and the finance company will need to sell the car in order to clear the finance, should you default. Of course, not everyone is blessed with a perfect credit score but there is no need to worry. There are more and more companies cropping up, particularly online offering the opportunity to take out a bankruptcy car loan so you can almost certainly secure the car you’ve always wanted.

Finding Parts For My Honda

I seem to be buying car parts and accessories for my Honda on a monthly basis. Either I am extremely unlucky or just like my car to be in peak condition. Or maybe I just like spending money. Either way, finding inexpensive parts for my Honda is becoming a small hobby of mine. The cost saving helps too! Especially for someone like me. I have recently started buying all my car parts online, starting with some new Honda Accord Shock Absorbers. To be honest, I could have got a bit more life out of my old shocks, but the drive was getting a little bumpy and for someone who puts their Honda through 250+ miles a week to and from the office, the small cost outlay was well worth it. This Christmas, I am also going to treat my wife to a Honda Accord Window Switch as her window has been broken for the past 3 months. But mine works fine, so to be honest, I’ve kinda been putting it off! A little selfish I know.

Of course, it’s not just Honda Auto Parts you can find online. You can find car parts for all the major manufacturers (and some minor ones) on the Internet at a much lower price than most small town shops and garages.

Ways To Sell Your Car

There are numerous ways to go about selling your vehicle. The most popular method is listing your vehicle in specialist magazines such as the Auto Trader in the UK which targets people looking to buy (and sell) vehicles. This is often a fairly cheap and reliable way to let people know about your vehicle for sale but often leads to a lot of phone calls that don’t lead anywhere and people turning up only to waste your time completely. If you have a lot of time on your hands and are in no real rush to sell, then it is worth considering, but for the most part, it can get quite stressful, particularly if you’re in need of the money fast.

A better option is to sell a car to a well known cash buyer. A company that offers cash for cars. I mean sure, the offer you will get will in most cases be slightly lower than you can get privately, but, you will save yourself lots of time and money in the long run and more importantly, you will get cash in your hand there and then.

I know if I was looking to sell my car today I wouldn’t even bother trying to advertise privately. I have had enough headaches with that, just give me the cash!

Finding Discount Auto Parts

If you’re anything like me, you’ll be constantly looking around the car shops with the Mrs, checking out the prices of not just anything you might need currently, but anything you might also need in the not too distant future. Us guys love to do this, we like to know where to get things in advance so if we ever do have an issue with our cars, we know exactly where to go and what the price will be for the car part we need.

Finding discount auto parts is often tough, particularly in small towns and cities. Most local shops tend to over prices their car parts and accessories when compared to larger, retail park based car maintenance superstores. A particularly good place to shop for smaller cart parts is over the Internet. Delivery times and costs these days are negligible and the choice available is much better than any shop in your city. Whether you’re looking for honda parts or bmw parts, you will find it on the Internet and at a much lower cost.

The next time you have a few minutes spare, do a few searches for parts for your vehicle and make a note of the prices, you will be surprised.

Concepts Becoming A Reality

For the most part, concept cars tend to be just that, concepts. A way for the top manufacturers such as Audi, Ferrari, Rolls Royce etc to show what they can do. To demonstrate their technology and design capabilities to the media and watching world. The same goes for any motorcycle concept. Seldom does a concept actually make it to the production / manufacturing line however elements of concept cars over the past 10 years or so are now starting to appear in today’s manufactured vehicles. Particularly in the design / styling of the bodywork. Is this going to continue? Are we going to see the concept cars of the future be turning into road worthy machines? We can only hope. It would be a god send for Audi to put all of their knowledge and technological ability in to producing one fantastic, road legal specimen from the technology under the hood, to the bodywork and right down to the tires! I know I would certainly be on the waiting list.

The same goes for most concept cars, I can’t imagine many of my readers wouldn’t like to get their hands on a brand new, road legal Mustang Concept or even the previously featured Mini Cooper!
